And the award for the worst dressed politician goes to...

Minister Kerri-Irvin Ross

Previous winners include, Ron Lemieux for his crazy ties and Ron Schuler for his suits that are a little too hip (and tight) for a forty-something year old politician.

The worst thing about this photo is that it appears on the government's own website.

Couldn't they find a better shot of the Minister at the announcement?

Or maybe they should of skipped on a photo altogether.

  1. Well, if all we need concern ourselves with is fashion... egad! What does that portend about our shallow transient future?

Surely, what she was saying (or trying to say) during the speech is more important than her wardrobe? No?

  2. If you want to check out what was announced, here it is.

But let's not kid ourselves, style and image can be just as important as substance in politics.

And in this case, it is the government's own website making the Minister look bad (with the help of the Minister).

  3. I dunno. Dave Chomiak would give her a run for her money in this category...

  4. Does Sam Katz at least get a runner up award for his bright red / blue / purple sport coats?

  5. Thanks Snow for the link to speech. And, upon reflection, your point may have some merit. But at least she hasn't, like so many of our male pols, started wearing a sweater yet!
